Roanoke Symphony Chorus
|
NEWS:
The Roanoke Symphony Chorus is having an informal "Summer Sing" on Tuesday, August 19th, at 7pm at Greene Memorial United Methodist Church in Roanoke.
Please join us as we sing through some parts of the Brahms Requiem.
There will be a time for refreshments and fellowship afterwards downstairs in the church fellowship hall. This is a good opportunity to meet some of the chorus, sing a little Brahms and get a sense of us as a group.
We will be holding auditions for the chorus the week of September 1st. For more information, please contact chorus manager LeAta Jackson at LeAta.Jackson@rso.com
The Roanoke Symphony Chorus is a volunteer organization that performs with the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra approximately three times per year. The chorus rehearses on most Tuesday evenings from September until approximately May. The chorus rehearsals are conducted by Dr. John Hugo, who prepares the chorus for final rehearsals and performances conducted by David Wiley.
Anyone interested in information about auditions or membership should contact the chorus manager, LeAta Jackson, at LeAta.Jackson@rso.com or by phone at (540) 343-6221, ex 228.
