Celebrating America: Opening Night

Enjoy a dazzling ode to our nation as the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra celebrates America. Join Maestro Wiley as he explores composer George Gershwin’s cinematic American in Paris, and also features the inventive composition of Grammy award-winning Composer, Michael Dougherty. In his new work, Night Owl America, audiences will journey into rail history accompanied by nostalgic photographic images from the O. Winston Link collection. The evening will finish with masterful pianist Yuliya Gorenman performing the popular Rhapsody in Blue.
